Indoor Golf Practice Facility

Cultivating a lifestyle of fitness

Union Public Schools asked KSQ Design to provide the planning, programming, architecture, and interior design for the development of their indoor golf facility. The interior renovation of an existing athletics building at the Freshman Academy will provide students with 6,500 sf of indoor practice space.

Phase one of the project includes three putting bays, a state-of-the-art TrackMan simulator room, and 3,000 sf of practice turf for students to practice their technique. To create an inspiring atmosphere for students, our design team incorporated images from prominent golf courses like Pebble Beach along with their school logo. When students are ready to practice outdoors, they will also enjoy a newly renovated outdoor course, improvements include a large synthetic putting green, a sand bunker, and perimeter fencing. Men’s and women’s locker rooms, office space for staff, a community lounge, and storage for students to keep their equipment are all included in the scope of the project which was completed May of 2022.
