J.D. McKean Library at Oral Roberts University

Fully Equipped to Facilitate and Enhance Education

Creating “Whole Leaders for the Whole World” is the driving vision behind the new 40,000-square-foot J.D. McKean Library and Research Center at Oral Roberts University. The library provides its large minority and international student population with opportunities to grow mentally, socially, and spiritually through its state-of-the-art digital database, creativity lab, multi-media stations, and individual and group study areas. The Holy Spirit Research Center (HSRC) will also be located in the library building. The HSRC started in 1962 and now houses one of the largest and most comprehensive Pentecostal-Charismatic and Holy Spirit collections in the world.

These quality resources are housed in a contemporary, curved glass building that fits into the greater campus Master Plan. Large windows with modern lighting and multi-media opportunities – invite students to discover the world around them and become Spirit-empowered leaders.
